Corporate Social Responsability“CSR” :

Geocean distinguishes itself

At Geocean, our unwavering commitment to social and environmental responsibility is the bedrock of our professional identity. We strive to enhance communities and safeguard the environment, all while upholding impeccable ethical standards.

Promoting diversity and equal opportunity

At Geocean, professional equality is not just a policy, it’s a way of life. We cherish diversity and equal opportunity, which is evident in our effective and measurable inclusion policies. For instance, our gender equality index is a testament to our dedication to equal pay.

Preparing for future generations

We are committed to inspiring young people by opening the doors of our company to them. By welcoming schools or groups of young people into our offices or construction sites, we enable high school students to discover construction and marine engineering professions closely. These initiatives encourage future generations to consider careers in our sector and understand their potential role in sustainable and environmentally respectful development. They also allow these young individuals to view the projects we conduct near their living areas comprehensively.

International commitment and local action

Geocean firmly respects human rights in all its international projects. Since 2023, we have associated each new project with an ethical action defined and chosen in partnership with the client in the host country.

Our corporate social responsibility initiatives include assessing the needs of local communities and organising events. These initiatives illustrate our commitment to corporate responsibility principles, such as accelerating the ecological transition and getting involved in civic projects. We build trusting relationships with local communities and choose suppliers as close as possible to our sites to minimise our carbon footprint.
