Building on the success of the initial terminal, Geocean had secured a comprehensive turnkey contract for the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation of a second FSRU terminal in Cox’s Bazar, southeast Bangladesh.

Drawing from the first project’s similar challenges and specifications, Geocean innovatively established a ‘flotel’—a floating living quarters on a barge positioned along the beach throughout the project—this strategic proximity enhanced team cohesion across all nationalities, fostering unforgettable moments and engaging nightly debriefings.

Engineering, procurement, construction and installation :
